In my second year we were given a short project of designing a cordless hand tool to fit into Bosch's existing range of products.
I decided on doing a relatively simple cordless tyre removal kit after helping an old couple change a tyre on the roadside. The idea is that it removes any strength required to jack up the car and replace wheel nuts.
I focused heavily on the CAD behind the design, using surface modelling to make sure the design is realistic and fits in well with the current range (cf. Bosch ASB & Bosch ISIO).
A short design document for the product can be found here (PDF, 2Mb).
